Union Club

With the cool breezes and sweeping vistas of Lake Apopka as a backdrop the Union Club will be the perfect place for Oakland Park residents to gather with friends and family.

“The center of the social life in Oakland was the Union Club, built in 1866.  Known as the Opera House, plays and theatricals featuring well-known actors and actresses were held in the upper floor of the building, the lower floor reserved for parties, banquets, the famed masquerade balls, and dancing.” From Oakland – The Early Years by Eve Bacon

Today’s Union Club will serve Oakland Park’s residence in more casual manner whether it’s the relaxing in the cabana’s aside the infinity edge pool, children playing in the water sprays, a game of tennis, friends sharing growing tips at the community garden or simply taking in another spectacular sunset along side the glowing fire pit.  With event venues for groups large or small the new Union Club will create memories for future generations.
